last blog...for the month of august. ;p

This past week saw some remarkable progress... ...

i am taking my first step to crawl le!!! i kind of raise my butt and jerk on all fours front and back...and moved a little forward!!! yes i am excited!!! excited to explore the real world right before me...

i am also starting to utter double tones like "ma-ma" kind of... sounds like mama but not quite mama...that got mummy rather excited.. ;p but well...only very very occasional...so far mummy heard once and daddy heard twice... ;p

and i am also getting very much more awake as i sleep lesser and want more more more attention more more more play...mummy says she is running out of energy for me le..
By the way, secret share of this photo...don't tell mummy i show hor...;p

i was awaiting to arrive this world in mummy... ...

PS: Mummy i know you work hard hard hard for me, especially to ensure i still have BM to drink...i LOVE u!!!

after 830pm express session last night, bf you at 1030pm which you last had your solids at 7pm...

then tried to express at 1am this wee morning but only gotten a miserable 30mls.... :(
mummy went to ZzZZz hoping that the good abundant supply will be revived successfully after all the regular expressing ...

then bf you twice at 640am and 930am this morning... ...
then you are up for your morning exercise and play. :)

mummy's back at 420pm and express session this time gained a 200mls. But it was a long almost 7 hours lapse. couldnt make it back at the initial planned 130pm... :(

i will try again later at 6pm. Hopefully good. :)

see it's really all a game of supply and demand... :)
only barely 3 hours gap from the last express session VS the afternoon 1st express at 3pm which had a gap of 5 over hours from the morning last feed at 9am...a lousy result of just 100mls...

mummy will work harder...off to feed you le...

worries about BM supply

mummy's not very happy this few days...becos' I am worried i may not be able to breastfeed you for a long time if this continues...

today, let you latch on at 6am and then 9am. Afterwhich i had to leave for work and returned at 3pm to express BM. Greatly disappointed to see only 100mls of BM expressed. A vast difference from before.

Looks like i got to work harder and resume expressing every 3 hours or so to revive the milk supply, and hopefully i can.

nowadays, you are on 2 solids meal each day. Generally at lunch time and dinner time.
You don't latch on as often as before since i am not at home and got to work.
Expressing before i leave home and immediately upon return doesnt seem to work as good as before as these days you latch on lesser than before and mummy must admit the number of times i express a day doesnt seem to be able to make up for the number of times you missed out on latching.

Though at times i am sicked of expressing, washing the bottles and repeating the same such stuffs like 4 times a day...i still got to increase the number of times to like 6 times hopefully... ...
else soon Asher's factory will run out of production.

baby asher is really 6 months old le...

Baby Asher, you have turned 6 months old. You are so active and attention demanding at times...and that's when sometimes i miss the quieter you...when you just looked into my eyes...as i danced and sang to you.

i rem the inital jaundice days when i was worried sick and how much i tried to sun you as often as possible so has to bring the jaundice level down and avoid having to send you back for phototherapy...

i rem the times when there were some blood stains in your poo and i was also worried sick...

i rem the few nights when you were a terror, a torture...no matter how much coaxing i did just doesnt seem to cool you off...and just couldnt get me back into bed through the night...

i rem the times you slept in my laps as i sat cross-legged and blogged...

i rem the first time i tried to bathe you and realised it wasn't that tough afterall...and i rem you were less beefy back then, unlike now... :P

Your first smile, first babble, first everything, i want to remember. But there's really only so much memories in the brain can store. They start to become vague as much i do not wish so.

Sometimes i really wonder...why do time flies sOooO fast? its really important to treasure every moment now and today, becos' very very soon, they become a thing of the past.

Someone asked when I will stop this blog...I said until you are able to take over from me, and its your choice whether to continue the blog or not.

its weird, its addictive. mummy used to think that writing a blog is a waste of time and just ain't interesting. But eversince i started blogging for you baby asher, it has changed my mind totally. and really i hope i am able to continue the blog for you till the day you can take over...your own blog right from birth, your own life story.

my visit to Dr. Tan left me with this two plasters on my butt...my 2 jabs lah..
1 for pneumo and 1 is my 6 in 1 jab... ...

Dr. Tan say she won't be seeing me until i turn 1 year old le...no more jabs jabs for the next 6 months le!!

I spent couple of days back at home...- Part 1

I am happy to be back at own home...

we came back on 13th Aug Wed late night and stayed till 17th Aug Sun evening...

isn't it obvious i am happy?

Then I had my vaccinations...1st jab at my right butt...I shrieked immediately, cried for a few seconds...after mummy hush hush...i was ok...THEN, the 2nd one came at my left butt...i shrieked again and cried for a few seconds again...and then mummy got to hush hush me again...and almost immediately i am ok again...ain't i a brave brave boy? :)
